I am having an issue with my XL2. The mic in use is the M4260.
We were using the XL2 for commissioning a couple of training rooms and classrooms for a recent installation and during the testing, we started getting weird readings. For the first 4-5 rooms, everything seemed to be working as intended, but by the middle of the day, the readings started getting wonky.
We started getting a substantial rising response roughly from 125Hz to 20kHz with a spike around 14kHz. This is independent of the weighting applied. It also showed the rising response with the mic disconnected.
We updated the XL2 to the latest firmware to see if it would help, but we still get the same rise.
I am attaching a screen grab from Projector Pro to show what I am dealing with.
Can anyone offer a suggestion on where to go from here? I wanted to post before sending it in for repair to see if anyone has come across the same or similar.

That does look unusual. Thanks for the screen shot. I can see that a NTI microphone is connected: ASD next to the clock. So the microphone is getting 48 V power.
Sometimes it is helpful to look at the signal in the XL2's Oscilloscope
You can also connect a headphone to the XL2's 3.mm jack. Press the speaker button (to the left of the blue power button)
To determine if the problem is in the microphone or the XL2, you can try another microphone (a NTI mic or other 48 V Phantom mic) or send a signal in from a MR2 or MR-Pro through the XLR connector. Again looking at time domain or listening is helpful to detect clipping and other problems that are harder to recognize in a broadband or spectral view.
