LCeq level measurements FOH

In certain European countries, the legislation requires to also measure the C-weighted LEQ during live sound events. XL2 can offset for an A-weighted LEQ for being able to measure FOH.

How can I compensate for the C-weighted offset?

Best Answer

With XL2 firmware version 3.33 (October 2017), the k2 compensation can now be based on LCeq

You can download and install the latest firmware 3.33 at https://my.nti-audio.com/home.php

Please note, some national authorities consider a firmware update as invalidating a sound level meter's calibration.
