Why is it not possible to jump over a Sound Level Meter?

Several people were asked to jump over an XL2 placed on the floor, but none of them could do it. Why?

Could it be because landing on the floor from a jump might excite the floor to generate low-frequency signals that would exceed the 5 Hz frequency limit of the NTi microphone?

 

Alternately, the jumpers were from the Swiss Olympic ski team and could not manage such a high jump!! - Neil S.

They couldn't jump over the XL2 because it is a thing of beauty, and they had to get closer to admire it ;) - Kevin H.

they were on level 1 floor and the XL2 was on level 2 floor .....  - Bob W.

The XL2 was placed in a corner on the floor. Therefore, it is not possible for a person to jump over it.
